The Delaware Water Gap, or simply “The Gap” is a National Recreation Area on the border of Pennsylvania and New Jersey.  This wildlife area offers some of the most thrilling hikes, drop-away mountain vistas, waterfalls, Boating, rock climbing, bouldering and diverse outdoor activities in the Northeast and Mid Atlantic.

 

In addition to over 100 miles of hiking trails there also historic sites such as Millbrook Village. The Water Gap recreation area takes occupies 40 miles of peaceful, wooded wilderness area in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. If longer distance hiking and backpacking is your thing, 27 miles of the Appalachian Trail wanders along the Kittatinny Ridge and New Jersey highlands. From a glance you can find over 70,000 acres of deeply-wooded forest and mountain adventures like boating and kayaking.
